WHAT HAPPENED?
Alexander-Arnold commented on Real's post celebrating his and Alonso's arrival, writing "El Jefe", meaning 'the boss' in Spanish. The full-back also changed his bio to reference Real Madrid instead of Liverpool, risking the wrath of Reds fans who are unhappy he has run down his contract to make the move.

Alexander-Arnold completed his move to Real this week, with the club reportedly paying £10 million ($13m) to sign him in time to play in the Club World Cup next month. He will be in contention for the competition, which begins for his new side against Al-Hilal on June 18.
