Jamie Carragher believes that the uncertainty surrounding Arsenal's goalkeeper situation will stop them from winning the Premier League title.

WHAT HAPPENED?
While Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League table, uncertainty persists over their goalkeeper situation. The Gunners signed David Raya in the summer and he has gone on to make 10 league appearances, while Aaron Ramsdale has made five.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The Gunners struggled against Luton Town last time out but managed to grind out a 4-3 win, despite two notable errors from the Spaniard. When Ramsdale has played, he too has looked jittery, and Carragher believes that the situation could prove their undoing.

WHAT CARRAGHER SAID
Speaking on the Stick to Football Podcast, he said: “They are the two things [the goalkeeper situation and the last-minute goals] that’s making me think Arsenal won’t win the league.
"I can’t think of many teams, if ever, who have won a league title without a goalkeeper being a big part of it and I just look at the goalkeeper situation, and it doesn’t feel right. I look at the last-minute goals and it could be a good thing, it could be a bad thing.”
